bought a baby arowana (silver) a week ago. The egg sac just dried up. suddenly today my fish is on the bottom of the tank. Help?? This baby fish is fading fast. Need advice
my tank is 20 gallons. There are other older fish (7) but they are separate from the arowana. This is what the pet store suggested to do while I prepare a separate tank for the new fish. He advised the water needed to settle before I intor'd my arowana into the tank. My water levels are ph 6.6 ammonia 4.0 which I think is bad. What should I do ?? A water change. the fish is becoming very unresposive and can't stay afloat. It keeps falling to the bottom. But it is still alive. Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Ammonia of 4 is lethal, you need to do a major water change, and get that new tank for the aro fast. He will need 150 gallons just in his first 6 months. What are the other fish in the tank?
