i bought these books "barron's tanganyikan cichlid aquarium"and "lake tanganyikan cichlids"
are they any good?there's not much info on sexing(thats what i really wanted)but he gave (what i'd call)some pretty useful info on baby brine shrimp that i didn't know I could do at home.
anyway :/ if you have any comments please post'em.

:) Don't have these particular books but I've got an old Barron book on breeding. I didn't think they were still publishing. :) Mac.

I didn't think they were still publishing. Mac.

i don't know if they are either but i got them pretty cheap 5$

Sorry Most....

Never heard of them. They may be somewhat outdated as far as having current pics and such.

Look at it this way...if you get any useful info from them, then your money was well spent.

Who knows...they may eventually become a collectors item as well...

lol collectors item? :p

"They may be somewhat outdated as far as having current pics and such"

actually the pics are great,i was looking for a book w/some info on the fish i got from you and they were all there. i'm just not sure if the info is as good as the pics.

Thats what I get for "assuming". I figured they were either old or outdated due to the price you got them for.

As I stated in another post (somewhere) I am not always "prudent" on keeping my referrence manuals updated.

I know, I know, shame on me. I am trying to rectify that now. Have recently purchased several good books, but still have a ways to go.

i've been trying to make my own referrence book using bits of info that i believe is the most accurate(which is a job itself  )
