are my male guppies...

wierdest thing happend today about two or three small males were following the largest male in the tank (as they would for any female guppy) but they werent fightin or anything can someone tell me wats wrong with my fish?

Guppies = Horndogs, if theres no females in there they will turn the sexual needs on each other but i dont think fish can be gay

It just like play fighting, but if some of your guppies get hurt you better return the attacker

I've had the same conversation with my hubby, lol. We've got one little guppy that is constantly following his male friend round and when he gets close he angles his gonopodium at him as if to mate.

Some say it's a form of fighting, or pecking order behavious, but it really does look like he's trying to mate!

In all honesty, I do think it's just machismo, but we're going out this weekend to buy them some lady friends.....

about 20 males 10 females for some reason majority of fry are always males for me
