Are My German Blue Ram And Golden Ram Male Or Female?

I need help! My LPS had absolutely no idea on how to sex them. Here are pics: PS: I just have one of each so..its the same pic for one.

both look male to me, the blue ram definitely

The blue looks like a female to me. Nice rounded body, no extended rays at the front of the dorsal fin. The lateral black spot is a bit "inbetween" for me (not quite definately completely black enough to convincingly be a male, but no obvious big blue "spangles" in it, indicating female) .... could be either male or female. But overall I'd say the fish is a female.

The golden, I would say is a male, due to the extended rays at the front of the dorsal fin. Body shape is rather female, but could easily be just a very well fed male. overall I'd say a male.

Lol, probably got them both wrong. Let us know if they breed, which is which.

Female and a Male Golden in my opinion.

Are quite difficult sometimes to sex accurately. The gold ram does appear to me ,to be a male. Can't be certain with the Blue ones.
If the belly of one of the blues begins to pink, or purple up, then It will be much esasier. I too did not see any irridecent spangles that fall inside the black spot on the fishes sides that would maybe indicate female but nor do the second rays on dorsal appear much longer on either of the two blue rams ,which would lead me to believe them to be males.
