Are gold skirts and white skirts one and the same?

Are gold skirts and white skirt tetras one and the same? I tried looking for the
White skirts at petsmart but they only have what they call gold skirt which they said look white so idk

Shops often make up names. The gold skirts are probably white skirts, maybe with a bit more colour than usual.


I've seen neon green rasboras (Microdevario kubotai) labelled as green tetras.
