Aquarium Cycle Question

Hi,
I have a aquarium currently going through the cycle process, i dont have another aquarium but I do have a pond that already went though the cycle, I was wondering if I could use the bio balls and gravel from the fish pond in a filter I made to boost up the process?
Thx alot.

What's in the pond: eight 5 inch gold fish and two frogs.
In the tank: 30 gallon tank with three giant danios.

I did this with mine and its 23 days in and my im starting my 12 hours testing waitin for my Nitrites to drop.
You just have to make sure your pond is healthy first
