No, ig you look at their website for the parts they sell they don't sell alternative parts so you're stuck with the opaque tubing. I have a black background as well - because AquaClear filters clog so easily with any plants in your tank I've been buying a rather large bush like plastic plant. I'm surprised at how realistic it looks in the water. We (my assistant came up with this idea because she does all the water changes and is a great tank decorator) put the plastic plant right in front of the tube - it even sticks out of the water a bit it is so big, then plant real plants elsewhere in the aquarium. In other words, just put anything to disguise the tubing in front of it and make sure it won't be somthing that clogs the filter.
