My apple snail laid about 500 eggs last night and the blob was so big they fell into the tank. The fish aren't even interested in them. Will they hatch submerged? There's still about 30 hanging on the inside of the lid.

I can't tell you wht you should do but usualy when eggs fall in you should scoop them out right away.

Well...I probably should have. I left them tho,and they're developing little dots in them and changing everyday. I see some null ones, too. They look the same as the ones hanging under the hood still. How long do they take to hatch? 2 weeks? We'll see if they hatch or not. :/

Well I'm glad to hear thet. I've forgoten the gestational period on apple snails but dont be concerned if you cannot find them after they hatch they are supposed to head straight for the substrate and stay there hiding for a week. good luck!
