Apple Snail Diets

Hello,

Im looking for ideas.inspiration for my new apple snails.

What do you feed yours?
What seems to be your snails favourits nibble?
How do you feed it? (float the food/weigh it down/spoon feed?)

hi there

i have made a batch of snail snax

i am testing them out on my snails first before i sell on ebay.

they seem to be going down ok with no ill effects (ie water clouding)

these include without giving away all ingredients, apple, strawberry, turnips , beetroots, parsley , eggs with there shells, and lots more high calcium friut and vegies, i also add lots of clacium .
these are dried and are like a hard biscuit, they sink to the bottom and over time become soft for the snails to eat.
and up to now seem to be great.

Do you put them near the snails or just let the snails find them? im worried my snails arnt eating what i put in! should i always put the food in the same place?

My Apple Snail likes the Algae Wafers that I got for my Shrimp. He seems to hunt them down wherever they end up in the tank and then sits right on top of them so the fish can't get them either. I sometimes put one near him so I know he will get some for sure as they are quite popular food in my tank.
