Aponogeton Longiplumulosis Bulb

I bought a bulb of Aponogeton Longiplumulosis from Aquaessentials and it's been in my tank about 8/9 weeks now. It came in dry form and I was told it would sprout in a few weeks. So far no growth whatsoever. Does anybody have any experience with these bulbs or with dry bulbs and can you tell me whether it should have sprouted by now or if I should just be more patient?
