This is the fert i brought last time it seem to work ok i was just wondering if anyone knows a better one out there?

thanks :good:

If it's working then it's great for you :good:
If you start to add CO2 (or liquid carbon) you'll proabably be wanting something with Nitrate and Phosphate in it.

On the flip side I'd say it's a pretty expensive liquid trace mix though really. There are certainly cheaper alternatives out there.

cheers for the reply. yeah i thought it was expensive do you know any that arent as expensive? i have thought about co2 but havent looked into that. taking it one step at a time. have added dirt to the tank. now want some ferts and looking into lighting then maybe time to look at co2.

James' Planted Tank is a great place to start if you fancy making your own All-in-One's.
Tropica do a good Complete mix (TPN+) and one similar to yours (TPN) but they are still pricey.TNC Complete and TNC Lite are cheaper versions.

With few fish there's little chance they will supply enough Nitrates for the plants.
Complete or TPN+ would really only be used when CO2 or liquid carbon are about aswell....to meet that extra demand.

well my tank is a 95L i have a 20w t8 bulb i have 5 neons 4 lemon tetra and 4 platys. the plants i have are some vails 2 baby swords lots of java fern and water sprite. what would you recomend tnc complete or the tnc lite? thanks for your help btw :D

im also getting some ludwigia and another plant (5 each) should be deliverd today some time.

I'd say keep it simple - API works for you, so go for TNC Lite as it's comparable IMO.
Leave TNC Complete for when you start adding a Carbon source.

been looking at co2 for abit on the internet maybe thats the way i should go?
