I have a tank that is roughly 30cm x 30cm x 38cm (l x w x h)

If anyone fancys putting together a nice layout in paint/photoshop as a birds eye view I'd appreciate it and am happy to hear ideas.

At the moment I'm thinking of Aponogeton undulatus or Cryptocoryne wendtii in a big clump in the centre arranged as a triangle towards the front. Then framing it with java fern on wood and then java moss on stone. So hopefully it'll be 60-70% coverage and a nice sloping gradient.

For the list of plants just go to www.dwarf puffer.com and click on biotope. (remove space)

With the java fern I'd use narrow leaf so it doesn't take over the focal point, I love designing layouts so I'll have a go later.

Oh and move your focal point so it's not centred, you'll like the look but you eye won't settle otherwise. Have a look through planted aquarium resource centre at the top of the planted section, it's a good guide to get things right, the more research you do the better. :)
