The last time I had a question about lizard compatibility no one answered That was quick. The skink gets 8 inches (so does tail ), requires a 15 gallon minimum, requires a diet of insect and plant matter. It needs a basking spot of 90 degrees, needs 60-75 degrees at night, and should be fed 3-4 times a week. That should help out eople that know about geckos. I'm sure I could just keep the temp at a steady 85 instead of 90 though. I think I'll get one, but I'll have to catch my crocodile gecko, he's fast. He can go with my golden gecko The croc (no resemblance) looks like the skink might eat him, but it would also croud the tank, and bob is alone
The golden gecko "Bob" was ok with the leopard for a while, but I will still keep an eye on every one. Bob isn't exactly my favorite, he's bitten me before and gets a 3 foot tall screened tank all to himself It looks very empty and he better accept "Steve" the crocodile gecko If these two don't work out, I can put steve in a 10 gallon with my brothers anole and House gecko If I can catch the little demon I'm still in awe that I'm getting replies
Ok, I got the skink, and he has the 20l to himself. I put the leopard in with my brother's Anole in a 10 gallon, and I think he liked the change. The Crocodile gecko is doing great with the golden in their 3' tall 18"lx18"w screened tank. I'll get pics later
I had a Moorish Gecko and two Eyed Skinks together for years with no problems. *shrugs* but I don't know if the species of skink & gecko that you're asking about would be as compatable.
