Hi,

Any one recommend 5ft aquarium light good for plants. All I can find is Nicrew. Are they any good ??

I use a nicrew G2, I would say it is adequate for a none technical tank. Nothing fancy. I have an old model, don't know what the new ones are like. I use mine with a single ramp timer which makes it a bit finicky because it really requires two ramp timers.

I've got a fluval aquasky 2.0 on my 6ft aquarium. 135 Watt. It's not quite long enough, so it'd be perfect for a 5ft! 🙂 hope this helps, it's a fab bit of kit

True, they are expensive! About £135 I paid. However if it's plants, it'll be a worthwhile investment 😊

That seems like the light for me I have a generic 5ft led and the java ferns
Bearly feel the benefit I will save up for the fluvial had great experience with them in the past. Thanks everyone!

The fluvial 2.0 33 watt is 145 cm my tank is 150cm it's not going to fit is it??

Yes, it has extendable brackets. It depends how you want to attach it, my tank doesn't have a lid so it's perfect. Here's mine...

I just wanted to mention that I love the Fluval 3.0 plant light and my plants have done very well. There is a person on Etsy called WaterWerksSolutions who makes risers for the 2.0 and the 3.0 Fluval lights. I bought the riser for one of my open top tanks and have been very happy with them also.
