Another Severum Breeding Question

Well After many failed attempts at beeding on my Sev's part 6 ? attempts later we finally have fry ! They are now 1 weeks 5 days old . My main query is Can/Will Sev's Breed whilst raising fry ? Paast 2 days they have been guarding fry less and less and retreating back to the area they lay egg's . I tried google but nothing came up so thought i'd ask you lovely bunch .If parents are being less attentive than normal should i jsut seperate the babies off ? I can get anothe tank to put them in if need me and i'll just make a replica of my main tank

Yes if the parents are loosing interest seperate the fry if you want to keep them, my pair of Rotkeils spawn every 2 weeks raise fry to 3 days old then abandon them to the other fish in the tank then start displaying again to each other.

Thanks alot for that star Shall hopefully get tank tonight or tomorrow ! It's like they're doing a half hearted job going over to area to clean it havin to keep going up n tappin the glass to scare other fish away from them ! lol Just seen the gourami pick 2 off ! lol
