Another Fish Gone

Must have lost another fish yesterday, one of the neon tetras.
 
I only realised after having a count up and then spotting what lookied like half an eaten fish on the bottom.
 
I assume the acaras must have had a meal once the fish had died.
 
Is it usual for the acaras to go after dead fish ?
 
Maybe the need some more food

Most fish will eat other fish if they can.

It's true.

Even peaceful, non-aggressive fish will eat a dead fish if they come across one.
