Im in the process of setting up a DIY CO2 on the cheap, and wondered about the diffusing side - Can I use a powerhead with a Venturi aeration nozzle to inject the CO2? Or will it suck too much from the CO2 setup - and eventually pull in all the fluid, or am I being silly??

Kinda like this one?

It could happen. Unless somebody can recommend a particular ceramic type that's known to work with yeast setups I'd use a ladder diffuser. :good:

I've been using these on my DIY set-ups since last August and they work fine.
