Angels 2nd spawn

Ok..........my angels spawned again...well I gave this pair to a friend.., but she hasn't picked them up yet, so I am going to take another stab at trying to raise them.......all the fry died after 3 days swimming the last time.
They wouldn't eat......



I am much more prepared this time....already have slate in 2 gal...inside
5 1/2 gal fry tank, with established sponge filter....didn't do this before....the sponge filter has been in my large tank for about a month......I gave it a couple of squeezes in tank water before I put in fry tank....is it true it will be a food source for the fry?

Should I break down and do the brine shrimp hatchery instead of the frozen, or powder?

Is it a pain to do?

If anyone has any suggestions on the subject, please respond....I will be going the largest fish store in Texas, so they say, in 2 days, and if there is anything I need to help raise this batch, I need to get it then, so please let me know how to make this a success.

Nevermind.........they were doing great ...only a couple dozen had turned white as of 28 hrs after spawn,went to church and shopping after, then at about 32 hrs after spawn......only had a couple dozen left....now they are all white.

First batch I did water changes 3 times a day......I was going to change the water when I got home from shopping, but had no reason to then.
When using methelyn blue(sp) do you have to do regular water changes, or just leave them alone?

Today is the BIG DAY for my first visit to the "Biggest Fish Store In Texas" so I will pick up some methelyn blue amongst other things!!!!! (hide your eyes and your wallet hubby!!)
