I'm getting some a pair of angelfish from PetsMart on monday... and ijust want to know what i should have or do to my tank i have the following:
20 gallon tank (tall and wid but not super wide)
1 pleco
1 cory
...... of course plenty of hiding places for them
so if you hav any suggestions or concerns or somthing jus let me kno :D  :dunno:

How tall is the tank? 20 talls over here are 16" tall, that's the absolute minimum for adult angels. If they are standard fin angels they will do better in a shallower tank than veils.

What kind of plec? A common will get too big for that tank fast.

I'd get at least 2 or 3 more corys, they like to be in groups. 6 is ideal, but that is really pushing the stocking of the tank, unless they are smaller like pygmys or pandas.

I would not add any angels into that tank, as I think they need atleast a standard 29 gallon tank, I kno people will disagree, but i think that would be better for angels.

The tank will house only a pair of angels. The tank is tall and the angels i want aren't veiltails. I read everywhere online that a 20 gallon was more than enough for a pair.

A 20 tall is fine for a pair of standard fin angels. They 29 would be better if they were veils, and opens up more options for tankmates, such as a larger group of corys. I, as well as other breeders, keep pairs in 20 talls, no problem.

As they get older, keep an eye out for signs of aggression. Angels can have a temper, sometimes they can get into it, even if they were raised with each other.
