Angelfish

I've just bought a new angelfish. It was one of LOADS in a tank and wasn't until I got it home that I noticed a Ventral fin was missing, almost as though it had never grown. If it has somehow been pulled off will it regrow? Either way, will a missing fin cause any long term problems?

it will probably regrow. stability may be affected.
