Dont know if this is where i go to ask this but yeah, just wondering if angelfish get aggressive towrds other angelfishs that get added to the fish tank. i had 4 angelfishs in a 75g tank and i added 2 more with them but one died cause his fin got nipped off and the only fish that are in the tank are angelfishs along with just a few smaller fishs. Could the old angelfish's be the ones picking on the new angelfishs?

Yes, they do get aggressive, and it probably is the older angels with established territories nipping the new ones. This can usually be avoided by removing the older angels with established territorys for a while, while you rearrange the tank decorations, add the new angels & give them a little time to settle in. A bucket with an airstone works for a few hours, any longer, such as overnight would require another tank for the older angels.

BTW, I moved this to New World Cichlids for you.

hmmm ok thanks! ill do that next time =P angelfish are like my fav fish of all time and i just wanted like 4-6 in a tank just for them but im picky bout the ones i want so yeah heh thanks!

Yep, had my larger angel nipping and chasing my smaller one. Had to move it to a different tank.
