Can FW angels be kept singly or should they be kept in pairs or groups? I want one for a centerpeice but I donut want more than one.

I'm pretty sure you can, yes.

It genuinely might get lonely, though...and you'd want to avoid any fin nippy tank mates!

Its possible but i would nit recommend it. I would say groups of 6 or more is better for the angelfish

Singles are simpler than pairs. For preference, groups of 6+, singles, then a pair, all assuming you have the tank for them. Nothing in between, it's not that it's not possible, just that it gets a lot more complex.

Singles are fine but groups are better - pairs can be complicated as males can overly pressure females as they used to a more group based system.

They can be kept as singes, no probs at all.. Next is group of 6+, the more the merrier. Next pair, last resort unless they are a mated pair.

Currently i have a group of 9
