hey guys i had 3 angel fish but 1 just recently died on me?, there only about 5-6cm big

P;H: 7.0
Ammonia: 0.25
nitrite 0
nitrate: 5.0

i am just confused how he died? but a thing i did notice with this one is he wasnt eating when the other 1's where could he of died of that?

thanks guys

It could have been killed by the other two (angels need to be kept either in mated pairs or groups of 6+), but your ammonia could also be responsible, and needs sorting ASAP.

he wasnt eating for a week. But thing i dont get is that the one dided was the biggest out of the group so how would he of got picked on? ammonia i took some pics to see what you guys think the readings are and if there a problem i will put in some ammonia remove?

Is your ammonia usually at zero? If your filter is cycled you wouldn't see ammonia. Maybe do a water change because of the death, and then when you check again, hopefully someone will have some better suggestions for you.

Size doesn't matter with aggression once they start to mature. The test results are close enough to zero to be considered such, of bigger concern is not eating for a week, especially if it was accompanied with stringy feces & hiding towards the back of the tank.

fishFanatic: yer normal at zero, it abit hard for me to do water changes cause i have a sump, meaning i would have to turn the pump off which is a **** to start back up for some reason so have u got any idea how i can change some water???

Tolak: ahh ok then, so u agree that the result are zero or close enough that it is not affect my fish??

thanks guys
