I have a few questions tomorrow I will be recieveing a red/green tipped bubble anemone, condylactus anemone, green/blue umbrella mushroom, green striped watermelon mushroom rock, metallic green star polyps, and red sun polyps. My question is These should be able to take once I place them on my live rock correct? I have a feather duster in my live sand and also starburst polyps that took over one live rock I was just wondering if any of these can go into the sand or need to be on the live rock? Also do any need to be epoxied? Thanks

Well, most of what you have listed should come on a rock. The anemone will move to a place they like, you will need to watch them to make sure that they dont walk over anything or get within stinging range. You do know that condylactus is a fish killer, right? As far as placement goes, it will depend on your lighting and depth of the tank.

All I have is 2 clownfish and getting 2 orange firefish. Does that mean bye bye to my firefish?? Thanks

They may stay way from it, the ones I would be worried about would be the clowns. If they try to use it as a host they will get eaten in the night.

And there's nothing like seeing one of your prize fish being expelled from the anenome

if you really want to keep your fish and coral safe the only way to keep them and the anemony apart is to corral the anemony, maybe build an ice crate cage around a bit of live rock and put the anemony in it.

The only problem with doing this is that the anemone may not like the spot you choose for it, if its not getting the right amount of light, water flow, ect... it may not last long.

Also, not having an bones it will more than likely go through the egg crate or reach through it anyway.
