Ammonia?

Where do you all get your ammonia from in the uk?? i looked in a couple of places today and couldnt find any i really want to get my new tank cycling tomorrow.

Jeyes ammonia, boots, b&q, hardware store.

Some chemist sell ammonia but make sure it pure ammonia.

If you can not find it you can use fish food. Just put a pinch in every day like you where feeding fish. Fills funny but it works. Add a couple days to the cycle time but I have used it a couple times.

Use about half a dozen prawns and change them every couple of days
