One of my Discus has got a large wound on his side, sustained from fighting and then being picked on which worsened the wound. I moved him into an emergency tank, using established media within the filter. However I didn't use enough seeded media and over night the Ammonia levels raised to 1ppm in the emergency tank.

This morning the Discus was on his side at the bottom of the tank. He is not moving but is breathing.

The flesh around his wound has darkened. He also has dark streaks along his body (maybe blood under the skin - a sign of ammonia poisoning).

I have done a 50% water change. Added a lot more established media into the filter.

Is there anything else I can do?

with a 50percent water change your ammo will still be 0.5ppm.
do another 75percent or 2 50percent changes tonight

Antibiotics in issolation.

Bleeding beneath the skin is septicemia. Hard to cure once it progresses.

The wound could of also got infected causing septicemia.
