Hi guys,

I just wanted to let you all know about my most recent report and some global warming facts, in which some of you may have interest in reading it - what is happening to our freshwater world, which I think is of concern to all, not only of the aquarists. I lived and researched it, and I wrote it two days ago for the website of PFK:

Enjoy (or possibly not),

3 times 4 times makes no difference its still a very important topic that all of us as fish enthusiasts should be aware of

Thanks to the OP for bringing it to my attention.. I hadn;t noticed the other topics, Its a shocking read!!

this is a proper bull poo..

lets stop crying over unchangeable facts and enjoy the life untill, earth is habitable for humans.

Why all the negative comments, heiko has taken time and much effort to report the facts you see before you, discovering many fish you have today in your fish tanks, a little bit of apprechiation would not go a miss.
Why cant people report a sitution and make folk aware, that what you have in your tank could soon dissapear from nature as we know it,

just read this very grim

I'm not normally one to believe in global warming, I just think we're on the verge of an ice age (world heats up slightly before super freeze).

But the deserts expanding and the rivers dissapearing is bad bad news, global warming or not, I don't like it.

I hate seeing species going extinct, especially ones never previously discovered.

I think large scale rescue breeding operations should be put in place tbh, get these fish breeding, and also..stop the deforestation #39####!!.. We need more trees, not more furniture!!

Did you mean anthropogenic (fancy word for "caused by humans") global warming? Or just global warming in general? Because one is fair to debate, the other is simply fact.

It that was too coy, it is simple fact that the world is warming. Whether or not this is "on the verge of an ice age" is really immaterial to the fact that the world is warmer in recent years than it was in the past years humans measured it (of course, the earth has been much warmer in the distant past).

Now, if you want to debate how much of the warming is natural versus human caused, I can accept the possibility of doubts. But to deny that the world is warming is just intentionally putting blinders on. I really hope that that wasn't what you meant.

No you have me mistaken thankfully.

The world is indeed warming, but my belief is that the world itself is increasing in temperature (and we've making the minutest difference) as it has been shown that earth suffers an ice age on a regular time basis, and befored each ice age, the earth got significantly warmer. And lo-and-behold, we are overdue an ice-age by a couple hundred years, and the earth is getting warmer.

That is my beliefs anyway, and it is backed up by scientific fact.
