Could this work? I want something to help control the short strands of (I think) thread algae I have growing on some of my vallis, and have always wanted amano shrimp, so they seem the obvious choice. The only potential problems are my Smiling Acaras. (Laetacara Dorsigera)

Will they be an issue?

If they will be a problemo, can you suggest any other invertebrates for controlling aforementioned algae?

Thanks, Sam

helpmeeeeeeeeeeeee!
I've got 6 Amanos in with 2 Keyholes & two A. Metae, no issues at all. I do have lots of nooks & crannies for the shrimp to hide in though, sometimes I don't see them for days.
As long as they've got somewhere to hide, I'd give it a try.
Hope this helps.
