Nothing wrong with a tank, just a question. Two of my amano shrimp have molted and I left the shells in there for them to eat. But after a few days they just sat there. Do the shells cause any problems for the tank or should I leave them in for the shrimp?

It will cause your water to be unclean. Just remove it.

if nobody has eaten them then remove them. they don't normally cause much of an issue in an established tank.

My shrimp occasionally eat their molting, but not often. It will not harm your tank. If you really want to, you could take it out. I never do though. Make sure to not mess with the shrimp 24-48 hours after he/she molts, as it’s shell is still hardening.
