Wow, what a great video! Slap's right; even if any of the babies survive the rainbowfish gauntlet, they probably won't make it in fresh water. But wow, what a cool thing to see! I've frequently seen mine carrying eggs, but I've never actually seen one giving birth. Just amazing. Thanks for sharing!
 
Your filming skills are just fine...but from what I understand, amanos need freshwater to live in, but brackish water for shrimplet survival...?
Yeah so unfortunately they will die in my tank anyway so better for the fish to snack on them
 
I was very fortunate to witness it, I noticed a couple of the rainbow flashing and going a bit crazy and after investigating I clocked the shrimp and wigglers!
 
Well, maybe the feast will prompt your rainbows to breed....

Amano eggs hatch to a larval stage rather than a miniature adult as can be seen in the video, and they do need full strength sea water full of microscopic algae to survive.
