my cycles almost done i think?

ammonia 2.0ppm
nitrite 0ppm
nitrate 0ppm (still same water aint even done a water change is that ok?)

do i just wait now for the ammonia to settle to 0ppm and then test all again and if all is on 0ppm start adding fish week by week or day by day?

How long from dosing ammonia to it getting to 2ppm ?
If the bacs had been processing ammonia you would expect to see some nitrite, similar for the nitrite conversion to nitrate (but later on)
Take a look at some of the cycling logs here in the beginners section to get some idea of the kind of information the members need in order to build up a picture to help you out, and start your own log

In answer to your question imho you`re some way off being cycled

about 3 days it takes for ammonia to drop to 0 ppm its taken about 6 weeks now, start
ing to do my head in now, was thinking about empty the water put fresh in and just put some fish in and see if there ok getting sick of waiting now

At least you`re under way. If you keep the temperature @29C and the pH @ 8.0 / 8.2 things will start to happen and you`ll see the ammonia drop to 0 in 24 hours, then there may be another slack period till the Nbacs get to work converting the nitrite to nitrate

I can save you the expense of putting any fish in yet, at 2 ppm Ammonia if they didn`t die within days, their long term health would suffer, it could cost you the whole of the stock in your tank a few months down the line

Chris, I'm afraid we've asked you about pH in other threads but you always just start a new thread and never answer. pH is not a terribly big deal, its either ok or its not but its kind of important to keep an eye on it to make sure it hasn't stopped the progress of your fishless cycle. WD
