Almost There, What Next

Hi, 27 days into fishless cycle. Had a few problems on the way but took all or forums advice (thanx). I have used filter media all the way through from my son. 3 days ago had a ph drop and amonia and nitrite level remained high, did 50% water change. Been adding amonia daily. Yesterday readings were
ph 8
amonia 0
nitrite 0
nitrate 40,
added more amonia and this morning all readings the same. My tank is 215 litre with overhead filter and is heavily planted. Checked amonia level this evening and again the reading is zero. Am I there yet and what next. Please advise.
