Almond Leaves

Do any of you use almond leaves in your betta tanks??

I don't, personally...what do you mean, exactly? Use them for what?

I just read about using almond leaves, sounds pretty cool! Like some kind of miracle plant or something, hahaha.
Anyway no, I don't use almond leaves because I don't breed, but after reading up on it I'm pretty sure I'd experiment if I did. xP Is that what you're using them for? Or are you thinking about using them?

When i got my betta he came with almond leaf in his bag, and i also got a free whole one.
Just really wanted to know if any one else used them

That's pretty cool, I've not heard of them coming with almond leaves before! Where did you get your boy from? Maybe they assumed you'd be breeding?

I got him from bettasplendens.co.uk

On his site he says he swears by almond leaves and uses them with all his bettas

i personally have never used them, have heard there good for breeding and helping with illnesses, certainly can't be a bad thing
