All The Same Species? Gender?

i bought 3 honey gouramis today to mix with the 3 yellow ones i had in my tank, they all seemed a dull brown in the shop but when i got them home and into my tank one stayed that colour and the other 2 turned deep red/orange with a deep black line under its belly [one is darker than the other] so are these all just different colours but the same species? are the deep red ones male and the brown one female?

I believe that the brightly colored ones with the dark line under the belly are males. The one who's coloring stayed dull is probably a female. Unfortunately, i can't see your photos right now 'cause i'm at work so i can't be certain, but based on your description, that is my guess.
