I bought this https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B079M2851Q/?tag=

Only labelled metal, assumed it was steel as most fish tank stuff would be, and then I saw similar product labelled chromium copper. I emailed seller to ask but often they will just say they don't even know.

Can anyone say is there any risk of the copper eroding into the tank through the air pressure?

I am still searching for a good pump and multiple outlets or airflow splitter to connect the one outlet with to set up all my 4 tanks and sponge filters to one supply , please, suggestions welcome.

Thanks.

I've used similar ones for many years with no issues. They never touch the water.

Honestly, no. I'd be guessing. I have a multi-tank set up with a linear piston pump, and my needs are up around 40-70 outlets for filters. I never use airstones (except if you win some in a club raffle, you can crush them with pliers. The plastic left behind is good for hose couplings...).

This will work fine unless the power to your pump is out and somehow the overflow air valve is broken.
