I am thinking of changing my airlines,
I currently have the std plastic tubing.
I have heard that silicon tubing is better
but can't find out why?

any opinions?

Silicon will last longer, more flexible, and is available in many colours, though it is kinda expensive. And not sure if it will let out any toxins?

it also doesn't kink, and is supposed to be quieter than plastic airlines. I don't have any comparison as I use silicon on all my tanks. not that much more expensive than plastic IME. and it won't let out any toxins.

sillicone is better more flexible think of a spoon iv u bend a metal one it ill eventually snap and not think of a rubber one tht will bend more without snapping (i know its rediculose to have a rubber spoon but just an example)
