Aggressiveness Of Female Betta Splendens

Are the females of this species aggressive to other fish with long fins the same as the males can be? I don't mean to their own kind, I mean to tetras etc.

Nope. They are just fine in most community settings.

Agreed. Mine are in a community tank and I haven't had any problems.

Thanks for the info. Would a pair of females be happy in a community tank or might they get grumpy with each other too?

They are known to be aggressive towards each others, if you intend to keep multiple females it is best to keep a group of 5 or more so the aggression is spread out among them and no one gets bullied to death.
