My mother has a tank with 8 Scissortail Rasbora. For two months they have been fine, but one in particular has turned super aggressive and keeps attacking the other Rasbora.
Last week she lost a Rasbora due to a vicious attack, but we are unclear if this was the aggressive Rasbora or another fish (Columbian tetra) which may have triggered the aggressive behaviour. There are no signs Columbian tetra are aggressive.
Something has happened to trigger aggression and we can't figure it out. Does anyone know what could turn a rasbora into an aggressor? I am unclear why it would feel threatened in a group or why it has suddenly turned aggressive.
