After a long Search. I have found a Shark

Hello All,

I have been thinking of adding a shark to the Tank.

I have never really Liked Balas, And was going to Add A RTBS. or an Albino.

But Was not really Sold on the Idea.

So I saw A China Shark in my LFS Last week - Googled it to learn More about it.

I know How Big the Fish is Going to Become and That it will Need a Very Large Tank when Adult.

Do not Worry - that has Already been Sorted and it will Join the Butterfly Koi Display Tank At Work Or the Diamond Sturgeon Pool. As they are Temperate water Fish that will Tolerate Cold Water.

These Fish Only Come into the LFs Every 18 Months or so. So I was Very Lucky To Get Hold of 1.

It is 3 Inches ATM and when it reaches 5 Inches it will start to morph into it's Adult Form Slowly.

Also It is a Bottom Dwelling Grazer Like a Cory, Grazing on Rocks and Plants.

From What I googled.

In his adult Form He will be 3 Feet in Length.

Yep. I work in Dobbies Garden Centre in the Aquatics Section.

They have the most Amazing Dispaly Tanks.

The 1 They Made Last week Is for Long Necked Turtles, and It is Very Cool.

My Favorite Display Is the Cardinal Tetra and Discus Tank.

Has Over
50 Cardinals
3 Discus
Countless Amano Shrimp
15 Ottos
5 Apistos
And Lots of Other Fish.

My 2nd Fave Tank is the Clown Loach Tank - Lots of Clowns and Red Line Torpedos and Angels.






I should have taken more Pix when he was in the Bag, I have taken Over 50 Pix and All are a Blur, He has been Busy Asserting Himself to the Gouramis. Will try Later when it is Darker.

His Adult Form I believe, Will be black or Silver and He will Be a Cylindrical Shape.
