Advice for one fish

I was wondering what fish are good that stay mainly at the top of a tropical (kept about 79 F) tank and are fine being solitary? Oh, and that don't get any bigger than 3 or 4 inches. Anybody know some good ones?

What size tank is it? What else will be in the tank?

Its a 10 gallon with a Pangasius Catfish and two leporinus, but those are going to be returned soon or im gonna get a bigger tank for them (didnt realize how big they got). Keeping one snail in. Planning on getting about 3 kuli loaches and one or 2 dwarf frogs.

You will need bigger tank even if you return those fish and add those others.

Hmm guess Its time for a change of plans then, maybe some guppies.

if u do get a bigger tank i recomed a pacu there water temp. is between 76 and 80. They like hoy water but ull need as BIG tank 300gs but they are a cool fish to have i like my pacu!
