Today I have tried adding my argos play sand to my tank, but I failed and my gravel cleaner seems to stop working. Just like that.
I have lots of plant and fish waste on it. Its a dumbster out there, trash psychopath
I'm worried that some waste got stuck underneath it and it would cause plenty of problems like I never had enough..
Never mind..... How do I add new sand to my tank with all the waste on my current sand?

How did your substrate cleaner break?

I am confused... are you trying to add new sand on top of old gravel? Or new sand on old sand?

Yes, this..
My gravel cleaner just stopped sucking up water even with the highest water level.
So, how do I add new sand to the tank?
Well... I would remove all of the old sand. Especially because your vacuum is broken - you don’t want to have buildups due to poop underneath the surface.

Ok.. And then how do I clean my old sand I just removed?
You can clean it in a 5g bucket. Get a hose and set the bucket at a slight angle. This way, you can swish the sand around in the bucket, where just the water runs out not the sand. You don’t want to wash it to much though, or you won’t have any sand left.
