Currently I feed my fish twice a day. In the morning they are fed flake and a few catfish pellets for the bottom feeders and at night are fed frozen food (Bloodworm with either Brineshrimp, Daphnia and Black/White mosquito larve). I want to buy the cichlids a treat, preferably frozen, that they can eat bearing in mind they aren't massive. This cichlids are:
2 Angelfish (Small),
2 Cryptoheros Cutteri (3")
2 Festives (1"),
1 Elliot's Cichlid (3-4"),
1 Keyhole (3").

I know earthworms are a possible treat (chopped) but I really want something more readily available.

Thanks,

Chopped prawn is a well loved treat in my tanks.

Duh, the above is me being stupid and reading chopped as cooked. :X Any special preparation for the prawns need? Ignore the other question.

Thanks,

I usually use raw frozen ones: boil, chop and feed.. but I also use frozen foods as treats instead of everyday fare.

I just use the cooked frozen prawns, defrost them and chop them up for those that need chopping. I did use to get fresh whole prawns for the turtles but I really hate the smell of them!
