We had one just inside the back door about 7’ from the floor. Its babies had babies who had babies etc and they were just about to touch the floor when we decided enough was enough and we decided the babies had to go.

The room was well lit naturally and the west facing door was open for about 18hrs a day in summer and always being opened during winter so it had a lot of fresh air. It had hundreds of babies in the six years we lived in that house, never seen a plant do so well. I honestly believe lots of fresh air was the secret.

There we’re too many babies actually so every Saturday morning I’d pot up 12 in MrsLurchs smallest plant pots and take them to the local hospice charity shop where they’d sell em for 50p each. This went on for months. The old ladies in there used to call me spider man!
