A Rare Petco Find

so i just came back from petco (looking for another breeding pair- failed) and i saw a beautiful elephant ear betta! they of course mislabeled it and just called it a HM PK, which it was but they left out the most important feature on the fish! on of them (there was 2) looked like the one below only with a darker purple. i guess it would have been a great deal because online on the petco website that are like $50 and since they were both mislabeled, they were only $12!! i didn't have enough money and i am looking for breeders, not to mention it would be kind of an expensive fish to have it fail at breeding . on day i might breed them though

i bought a dragon PK from petsmart and the lady got it out of the display tank and didnt know what it was so she just sold him to me as a female,
he was a $10 fish and i got him for $3

didnt have the money, if i do successfully breed bettas and i do see another mislabeled one then i will get it!

are they easy to breed? (i have also heard that HM are harder to breed). maybe it i can rake up enough money, i will get one and hope it makes a nest and breeds!!!

same as any other betta I hope! my 1st pair were HMs they where very easy, got on so well there wasn't 1 chase or nipped fin on either when they came out

hmm maybe i will consider buying it. my fear is that he might not make a nest, and that is a pricy fish to be just an ornament!
