I want to add a small algae eater to my tank one algae has started building up. A couple of questions

1. Can anyone recomment a small algae eater that is not going to get more than four inches and suitable for a community tank
2. Can they be kept as lone fish or do they need more of the same species to be happy
3. Can they share the bottom of a tank with Albino Cory's (6 of them)

Any suggestions, particularly on the type of fish would be appreciated

Hi Kryten! ;)

Dwarf Sucker Mouth Catfish are excellent. They eat algae and get no bigger than 2". It would be best to keep them in schools of 2 or more (it is neat to see large schools of them hover over the glass) but having just 1 is ok.
Dont worry, they are non-agressive and are no threat to any size or type of fish.

Good luck! ;) ;)

As T.A.A said, either one bristlenose pleco (4") or 4-5 otto's (just over 1" a piece) :)
