Hi all.

I have been speculating  a lot over the past month or so on what to do with my new tank, i was thinking of doing a reef and then decided to go back with rifts to then think about discus, but now I'm 100% fixed on doing a full planted set-up. I will build on this topic once i have finished all the plumbing. I still need to do some reading over the next few weeks while i gather the rest of my equipment.

Aquarium:
48" X 48" X 27" (Roughly 1000L) with a 43" X 18" X 24" sump (300L)

Stock: To be announced.

Plants: To be announced.

Equipment:

Eheim Jager 300W X2
Vortech mp40 pumps.
Neptune apex system
Full CO2 + Fertilisers.

ADA soils (more than likely, i still need to read up)
LED lighting

More to add once i start!

The blue background is the only downfall but ill have to compromise.

You could use it but I donno how fish would react to making waves found in the sea :p

I've never owned WP40s myself but you could play around with the settings to see what you can get away with.

Cool tank man, I'm planning on getting one myself but I was thinking a rectangular one for my bichirs.

Thanks guys and sounds nice sawickib :) You should!

Wow that's really cool that the tank is 4ft x 4ft. Can't wait to see how this turns out!

Oooo i like it....cant wait to see it running

Is ADA substrates and soil the best you can get for your money?
