Hi everyone! I'm new here, but I'm relatively fish savvy. This is my first tank an about 10 years, though so please bear with me...lol. I have 4 kids, 1 dog, and 1 foster dog. I work full time at a dog rescue group. I hadn't decided to get back into fishkeeping quite yet(my plate is rather full currently)but my mother in law had other plans. She too the kids out one day and came back with 5 zebra danios, 2 guppies, a female betta, a mystery orangish fish, and about 20 ghost shrimp for the kids(the kids picked them out, dont ya know!). To add insult to injury, she got a 2.5 gallon cute desk aquarium for them all!! Needless to say we had a LONG discussion about buying the kids pets! So long story short, most didn't make it through the night, but I bought a 10 gallon the next day to house the survivors. The mystery fish, 2 danios, and God knows how many shrimp are left. Hardy little suckers considering they are now 3 weeks into a fish in cycle(NOT what I wanted but it was the best I could do). My water is leveling out now and the worst of the cycle I believe is over!
Now for my questions...
Where do I post a picture of this mystery fish so I can learn more about it and give it a good life?
How many more danios can I add(that's the only fish I will be adding)?
