A Few Of My Photos..

I have a couple of cameras and take them out with me whenever I can, so here are a few "recent" ones:

A close-up shot of a mushroom, taken in a local park.

I love the mushroom . Did you black out the background post processing or is that done at the time of taking the picture?.

The background was very dark to begin with (used a flash on the mushroom itself) and then in postprocessing I darkened the background only very slightly.

The lighting and DOF are spot on on the mushroom IMO

Have you tried straightening it in PS? I think I would be tempted if it were my image

I had contemplated it, but never really got round to it - may give it a go and see how it looks.

I use a Nikon D300, with a D50 as backup

And I have just taken some very quick photos of the various tanks. We're downsizing, so I haven't included all tanks as some are being closed down as we speak.

I will post them up in the correct forum
