So it has been a long time since I have been on here. I have been busy with a young conure, dogs, daughter, Gecko, and others stuff. I have some time now.
A month or so ago I re did my whole planted 80 gal tank. It was just looking blah and the plants were not as happy. Due mainly to neglect on my part.
I am doing something different. I have a dirt base with a sand cap. So far the plants are happy my Sward plant is really taking off. I am also adding ferts more regularly to the tank that helps. I also have better Flow in the tank I added a power head.

I will do an update as the plants fill in more.
