5 Gallon Planted

I just set up a little 5 gallon planted tank. No fish. I was wondering if I can do a fishless cycle, will it hurt the plants. Or am i better off putting betta in there.

the plants will be fine altho if your only wanting a betta in there then theres no need to do the cycle.


well, unless its filtered i guess but most peoples betta tanks arent and they jus do 100% water changes every week so thats not cycled when they put the betta back in.


jus make sure you treat the water and get the temp right.

could you not clone if off one of your other 3 tanks?
